The
cool stuff!
So,
this is getting better and better.
Let see what other acrobatics can we perform here. How about Port layline
& Jibeset.
You
are coming on port layline cutting very close to the mark.
You will tack to starboard at the mark fall off and jibe. Keep in mind
that you will be leaving the mark on port jibe so your pole has to be
setup on port and spin gear on starboard. We will let you figure that
one out. Remember think ahead, because as you come to the mark everything
will happen before you have to think about
Boat
comes to the mark on port and tacks to starboard.
Tacking!
Note:
You may want to set inboard end of spinnaker pole up before the tack,
but this would require to take your weight off the rail and going to low
side to set the pole. As you would like to make sure that this maneuver
goes right you may want to sacrifice the rail weight and set the inboard
end of the pole anyways. Something to think about.
Boat
bears away at the mark and jibes.
Assuming
that you have fully comprehended first three maneuvers, combine port layline
approach with Jibeset.
