One of the most feared by some sailors maneuvers, make big gain or big lose . You are coming to the mark on Starboard layline, falloff at the mark, jibe and set the kite.
After you complete this maneuver you will be sailing on Port jibe your
spinnaker pole should be ready on port side, and your spin gear on starboard.
You could use starboard halyard, but keep in mind how you are going to
douse. Sometimes port halyard could be faster to clean up after douse
especially when doused to Windward.

Bow-ready to cross help the outboard end of spinnaker pole. Hoist! Note:

Bow-guide outboard end of spinnaker pole. Kite
is Up! 3.
Bow-controls luff of the jib as it comes down. Not
over yet. Get ready to jibe!
